ANALISIS EFISIENSI DAN EFEKTIVITAS LAYOUT FASILITAS PRODUKSI KERIPIK DENGAN MENERAPKAN METODE LINE BALANCING PADA CV. SALUNA

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

The study was conducted on the CV. Saluna located in the district of Trenggalek. The purpose of this study are: 1) To find out how the production facility system used in the production process of CV. Saluna. 2) To find out how the layout model is applied to production facilities at CV. Saluna. 3) To find out how the level of effectiveness and efficiency of production facilities on the CV. Saluna after analyzing by applying the line balance method. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis methods in this study are divided into three stages, the three stages are: 1) Analysis of the layout and systems of the company's production facilities. 2) Analyzing the layout of production facilities by applying line balancing methods. 3) Comparison of the results of line balance analysis.

The results of this study indicate that: 1) Production facilities system at CV. Saluna is divided into several parts, namely production raw materials, equipment machinery and operators, systems and working time, and the last is the production process. 2) Production process at CV. Saluna applies a product-oriented layout. 3) Through the analysis of line balance calculation, it can be seen that in the work cycle time based on the real conditions in the company that is 45 minutes it can be seen that the total idle time owned is 40 minutes with a line efficiency level of 70.4%, line effectiveness 81.2 %, and the percentage of unemployment is 29.6%. At work cycle times based on the work cycle time allowed for 38 minutes has a smaller idle time level of 19 minutes. With an efficiency level of 83.4%, the effectiveness of the channel is 93.2%, and the percentage of unemployment is 16.6%.
