Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers such as soybean compost has the potential to increase soil fertility and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect of applying soybean cuttings compost at different doses on growth, yield, and P efficiency of Pakcoy mustard plants. This experiment used a simple Complete Random Design (RAL) with a compost dose treatment, namely D0 = no compost/0 t.ha-1, D1 = 5 t.ha-1, D2 = 10 t.ha-1, D3 = 15 t.ha-1, D4 = 20 t.ha-1. The results showed that the application of soybean cuttings compost at a dose of 15 tons/ha-1 increased the phosphorus uptake efficiency by 82.52% compared to no compost. Different doses increased the plant height by 16.50 cm, the number of leaves by 12.44 leaves and the leaf area by 4463.59 cm², while the yield of a dose of 20 tons/ha-1 gave a total fresh weight of 279 g, a fresh root weight of 15.33 g and a total dry weight of 52.67 g.
