Peer Review Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Each submitted manuscript will undergo an initial screening by the editor to assess its compliance with the focus and scope, submission requirements, and author guidelines of the Jurnal Inovasi Hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat (JIPEMAS). Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be rejected at this stage without being sent for peer review.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will undergo a similarity check using plagiarism detection software. If the manuscript meets the journal’s prescribed similarity threshold, it will proceed to an initial editorial review to assess the quality of writing, manuscript structure, and compliance with the journal’s style and formatting guidelines.

Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements will then proceed to substantive peer review using a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential from each other. Each manuscript will be reviewed by two independent and qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.

If revisions are required, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for revision based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. The editor will make the final publication decision by considering the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations. The editor has full authority to determine the final decision, which may include the following:

• Accepted without revision (Accepted).
• Accepted with minor revisions, subject to editorial verification (Minor Revision).
• Accepted with major revisions, requiring substantial changes in accordance with the reviewers’ recommendations (Major Revision).
• Rejected (Rejected).
