PENGARUH PUPUK SUBSIDI TERHADAP PENDAPATAN PETANI PADI (Studi Kasus di Kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan)

Abstract

Ketersediaan pupuk yang cukup sangat membantu petani dalam meningkatkan produktivitas padi. Petani di Kecamatan Sukorejo telah mendapatkan subsidi pupuk. Petani-petani yang mendapatkan subsidi pupuk sangat terbantukan karena mengurangi biaya pupuk sehingga biaya produksi lebih efisien dan pendapatan petani menjadi lebih tinggi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi petani di lokasi penelitian adalah program ini tidak semua petani mendapatkan pupuk bersubsidi, sehingga perlu dikaji apakah ada perbedaan pendapatan petani yang mendapatkan subsidi pupuk dengan yang tidak mendapatkan subsidi pupuk. Permasalahan lainnya adalah apakah program subsidi pupuk ini mempengaruhi pendapatan petani padi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pendapatan petani padi yang mendapatkan program subsidi pupuk dan yang tidak mendapatkan subsidi pupuk, serta menganalisa pengaruh program subsidi pupuk terhadap pendapatan petani padi. Penelitian dilakukan di dusun Pakunden, desa Pakukerto, Kecamatan Sukorejo, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Sampel sejumlah 54 orang untuk petani yang mendapatkan subsidi pupuk dan 63 orang yang tidak mendapatkan program subsidi pupuk. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pendapatan petani padi dihitung dengan rumus berikut TC = TVC + TFC, untuk menganalisis perbandingan rata-rata pendapatan petani padi di lokasi penelitian diuji menggunakan uji One Sample t-test. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh subsidi pupuk terhadap pendapatan petani padi adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan pendapatan petani padi yang mendapatkan program pupuk bersubsidi dan yang tidak, dan program pupuk bersubsidi berpengaruh terhadap kenaikan pendapatan petani padi.
