Peningkatan kapasitas dan peran kader tuberkulosis melalui edukasi berbasis modul dan flipchart

Kasus tuberkulosis (TB) paru di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Taman Bacaan Palembang masih tinggi, sementara kader kesehatan belum memiliki media edukatif yang menarik dan mudah dipahami masyarakat. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya literasi kesehatan dan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien TB. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan peran kader TB dalam memberikan edukasi pencegahan dan pengendalian TB melalui penggunaan modul dan flipchart edukatif. Kegiatan pelayanan masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2025 di Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat Taman Bacaan, Palembang, melibatkan 25 kader TB. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan berbasis simulasi, penerapan media edukatif, serta evaluasi menggunakan uji paired t-test terhadap hasil pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan kader. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan rata-rata skor pengetahuan kader (4,50 ± 1,74 menjadi 9,25 ± 0,68; p < 0,001). Selain itu, kader diharapkan mampu melakukan komunikasi edukatif dan partisipasi aktif dalam penyuluhan masyarakat. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap penguatan kapasitas kader sebagai agen perubahan perilaku serta dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain sebagai model edukasi TB berbasis komunitas.
