Penguatan kompetensi PLC–IOT bagi guru SMK untuk mendukung pembelajaran industri 4.0

Kesenjangan kompetensi guru SMK dalam penguasaan teknologi otomasi modern, khususnya pemrograman PLC dan integrasi IoT, masih menjadi tantangan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan kompetensi era Industri 4.0. Di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi, fasilitas laboratorium PLC berbasis IoT belum tersedia dan hanya 6 (25%) guru yang memiliki telah mendapatkan pelatihan PLC tanpa pengalaman pada integrasi IoT. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru pada aspek pemrograman dasar PLC, konektivitas IoT, dan troubleshooting melalui pelatihan berbasis workshop dan problem-based training. Kegiatan melibatkan 14 guru dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: pengembangan trainer kit PLC–IoT; pelatihan intensif mencakup teori, praktik pemrograman, dan integrasi IoT menggunakan platform berbasis cloud; serta evaluasi melalui pre–post test dan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 71,43 menjadi 92,86 dengan peningkatan 28,21% pada pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemrograman serta integrasi IoT. Selain itu, satu unit trainer kit PLC–IoT telah diimplementasikan sebagai fasilitas laboratorium baru dan mulai digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Program ini memberikan dampak keberlanjutan melalui peningkatan kapasitas guru dan penguatan kerja sama perguruan tinggi–SMK dalam pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis Industri 4.0.
