Author Guidelines

.: Article General Guidelines :.
The submitted articles have never been published or are under consideration elsewhere.

• The editorial team will reject any article that indicates high plagiarism (see terms and condition in Screening Plagiarism) and the article that out of scope (see Focus and Scope).
• Articles written under the guidance of PERCIPIENCE must be submitted via the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) at http://riset.unisma.ac.id/index.php/percipience. Select a registration procedure and register as an author in the "Register" menu  [https://riset.unisma.ac.id/index.php/PERCIPIENCE/user/register].
• The article template and guidelines are available in MS Word (.doc) format and can be downloaded here
• The manuscripts should be between 5,000-8,000 words
• Articles that are not in accordance with the guidelines of PERCIPIENCE will be returned to the author before the review process.
• Articles must contain the following aspects: (a) title, (b) author's name (without academic title), (c) author's institution, (d) author's e-mail address, (e) abstract and keywords, (f) introduction, (g) methods, (h) findings and discussion, (i) conclusions, (j) references.
• Subtitles in parts (a) introduction, (b) methods, (c) findings and discussion, and (d) conclusions must follow the sequence. Subtitles are written in bold, left-aligned, without underlining [Heading 1]. Expanded subtitles must also be written in bold, sentence case, left-aligned, and in second-level numbering format and follow the numbering format from [Heading 2] onward ([Heading 3], [Heading 4], and so on).
• Articles can be written in Indonesian or English and follow the template in A4 paper size — 21 cm (width) × 29.7 cm (height) — with margins of 2.4–2.5–2.7–2.5 cm (Top–Left–Bottom–Right).
• Article text uses Cambria font: 16 pt for article title, 12 pt for author's name, 12 pt for author's institution and email, 11 pt for abstract and keywords, 12 pt for paragraph body, and 10 pt for table/figure/graph captions.
• Words that are not Indonesian must be typed in italic format.
• Each paragraph begins with a first-line indent of 1.27 cm from the left margin, with no spacing between paragraphs, except after a Heading 1. Use the [Body Text Heading] style.
• Tables and figures are placed within the text immediately after the paragraph where they are first referenced. Each figure must have a caption below the image, numbered and followed by the figure title. Each table must have a caption above the table, numbered and followed by the table title. Tables must not contain vertical lines; horizontal lines are only permitted for essential points. [Table and Figure Caption Heading]
• Attached images must be of print-ready quality with adequate font size, resolution, and clear outlines. Figures, tables, and charts must be centered within the text group. If larger than the text width, they may be centered across the full page.

.: Guidelines for Writing Article Bodies :.

Title: The title must be informative and written concisely and clearly without multiple interpretations. It is written in title case letters, symmetrical, bold, and middle text format. The title of the article does not contain unusual abbreviations and no more than 25 words. The main idea must be written first and followed by supporting ideas. [Cambria, 16]

Authors' Identity: The authors' names are written without academic titles [Cambria, 12], followed by the name of the Institution and email address. [Cambria, 12].

Abstract: It is written in English, consisting of the issue/study background, objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions. The abstract is written in a single paragraph, no more than 350 words, and italicized. [Cambria, 11]
Keywords: It consist of 3 up to 6 keywords. Each of them is separated by a commas (,) and italicized (italic). [Cambria, 11]

Introduction [Heading 1]: It contains background, research problem, scope, and purpose of research. All introductory sections are presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs. [Cambria, 12]

Methods [Heading 1]: It describes the research subject, the methods to solve problems, and data analysis. [Cambria, 12]

Findings and Discussion [Heading 1]: It presents arguments containing research findings or results, reinforced with relevant data and information or can be supplemented with tables, graphs (pictures), and / or charts. [Cambria, 12]

- Sub-sections are written using Heading 2 format — bold, sentence case, left-aligned, without numbering [Cambria, 12]

- Sub-sections of subsection are written using Heading 3 format — bold italic, sentence case, left-aligned, without numbering

- Sub-sub-sections are written using Heading 4 format — sentence case, left-aligned, without numbering [Cambria, 12]

- Tables and figures are labeled using the Table and Figure Caption style [Cambria, 11]. Table content can use [Table content Heading]. A source line (Source: ...) must be included below the table or figure if applicable.

Conclusions [Heading 1]: It must contain summaries and recommendations. The recommendations must correlate with the concept of the research as well as suggestion to improve the research itself. The summary must have the sample of answers that is suitable with the research purpose. [Cambria, 12]

Reference [Heading 1]: It is recommended to use APA 7th Style and Mendeley as the reference tool. The references are cited in the last 10 years with available DOI. [Cambria, 12]

Quotation
The quotation is written by protruding from the left edge of 1,5 cm. [Cambria, 12] - [Quote Heading]

Quotation and References
Quotation must attach the source of reference and use the reference managers such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.
