EDITOR - PUBLISHER RESPONSIBILITIES

JEMA: Jurnal Ilmiah Bidang Akuntansi dan Manajemen follows the guidelines set out by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in all aspects of publication ethics. This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the authors, the journal editors, the peer-reviewers, the publisher, and the society.

EDITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

In general, the editors will provide assistance to authors and readers in order to improve the journal’s content and should be responsible for everything published article in JEMA. Therefore, the editors will pay particular attention to handle potential breaches of intellectual property laws and conventions.

Publication Decisions

The editors are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published based on the content of the article and its connection to the journal’s aim and scope. The Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision. Moreover, once a paper is accepted and published, that particular publication cannot be retracted, unless it constitutes plagiarism or he findings are unreliable, redundant or false. The editors will at any time evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

The editors and any editorial staff will not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
