Pengaruh Edukasi Kesehatan Dengan Media Poster Terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Santri Tentang Scabies di Pondok Pesantren Nur An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang

Abstract

Scabies is a skin condition caused by mites (Sarcoptes scabiei), which can interfere with the quality of life of sufferers, especially in a boarding school environment. If scabies is not treated, it can cause itching, sleep disturbance, hyperpigmentation due to inflammation, disturbance of feeling and self-esteem. So it is necessary to provide health education with attractive media such as posters. This study aims to find out the effect of health education using poster media on the level of knowledge of students about scabies at the Nur An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. The used is Pre-experimental with a pre-post-test one group design approach . The population in this study were all students taking samples using total sampling which amounted to 41 respondents. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. Statistical tests in this study used Wilcoxon analysis techniques with test results obtained 0.000 <0.05,that there was an effect of health education with poster media on students' knowledge about scabies at the Nur An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School.
