Sintesis Teori Atensi Psikologi Kognitif dan Pedagogik PAI untuk Pembelajaran Minim Distraksi

Abstract

The teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the digital era faces serious challenges in the form of increased student learning distractions, which result in reduced focus and depth of material comprehension. To date, PAI pedagogy has adopted various educational psychology approaches; however, integration with attention theory in cognitive psychology remains very limited and normative. This study aims to construct a conceptual synthesis between attention theory and PAI pedagogy as a theoretical foundation for distraction-minimizing learning. This research employs a qualitative approach with a conceptual research type based on library research, utilizing content analysis techniques and theoretical synthesis of the cognitive psychology and PAI pedagogy literature. The results of the study show that integrating the principles of selective attention, sustained attention, as well as managing top-down and bottom-up attention, can strengthen the design of PAI pedagogy to be more conscious of students' cognitive processes. This research contributes to enriching the body of PAI pedagogy through an interdisciplinary approach and provides a conceptual foundation for the development of attention-based PAI learning models in future studies.
