About the Journal
The Journal Innovation of Civil Engineering (JICE), ISSN 2775-5592, is an academic journal published biannually (January-June and July-December) by the Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Islam Malang. JICE provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, scientific insights, and case studies in the field of civil engineering. The journal upholds the principles of academic integrity, ensuring that all published works are free from political, commercial, and subjective biases. JICE exclusively publishes original articles that have not been previously published in other scientific journals or media. The journal is currently nationally accredited by the ARJUNA in Science and Technology Index (SINTA 5) and is indexed in Dimensions.
JICE accepts manuscripts in English. Each submission is rigorously evaluated by the editorial team to ensure alignment with the journal’s author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are rejected without further review. Those that comply proceed through a plagiarism check, and if the Similarity Index falls within acceptable limits, the manuscript is forwarded for double-blind review. In this process, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each article is reviewed by a minimum of two expert reviewers. Upon completion of the review, manuscripts are returned to the authors for revisions, with the final publication decision made by the editors, based on the reviewers' recommendations.
