COLLABORATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND TEACHERS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The phenomenon that shook the whole world with the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia caused all educational institutions to change their habits in the teaching and learning process. The aims of this study are: (1) to analyze the role factors of parents and teachers in early childhood learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) to describe how the collaborative roles of parents and teachers in early childhood learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, the research subject involves 10 parents, and 5 teachers, data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation, data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and concluding data or data verification, then testing the validity of the data. with the triangulation technique. The results showed that (1) the role of teachers and parents in early childhood learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was seen from the involvement of parents in learning assistance, when children did school assignments, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, establishing good communication, being a role model for children, provide supervision and motivation for children, provide a living to meet family needs. (2) The collaborative role of parents and teachers in early childhood learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is carried out through 3 stages of implementation, namely Problem Setting, Direction Setting, and implementing the role of parents and teachers in the child's learning process.
