About the Journal
The journal of Informatics, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (Infotron), ISSN 2798-0197 (online), is an academic journal managed by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Islam Malang. Published biannually (December-May and June-November), Infotron serves as a dedicated platform for high-quality research, scientific insights, and case studies in the field of informatics technology, control engineering, and electronics engineering. The editorial team warmly invites submissions from researchers, academics, reviewers, practitioners, and industry professionals, accepting articles in both Indonesian and English. Only original work that has not been previously published in other scientific journals or media will be considered for publication. Currently indexed in Dimensions, the journal is also awaiting an official accreditation decision (ARJUNA) from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) under Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
Each submission to Infotron undergoes a thorough evaluation by the editorial team to ensure it adheres to the journal's author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are declined without further review. Submissions that pass this initial check are screened for plagiarism, and those with an acceptable Similarity Index are advanced to a double-blind review process, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers. Each article is assessed by a minimum of two reviewers in the field. Following the review, manuscripts are sent back to authors for any required revisions, and the final publication decision is made by the editors, based on reviewers' recommendations and a concluding plagiarism check.
