Archiving Policy

PERCIPIENCE is dedicated to keeping its published content accessible and safely preserved for the long term. This archiving policy is posted publicly on the journal's official website.

Digital Preservation

PERCIPIENCE relies on the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally archive its content. PKP PN offers free, secure, long-term preservation for journals running on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

PKP PN works on a distributed-preservation model: multiple copies of the journal's content are stored across a decentralized network of preservation nodes, which keeps the material accessible over the long run.

Because of this setup, even if the journal's website were to go down, the preserved content would stay available and could be restored for public access.

Through PKP PN, PERCIPIENCE's content remains permanently accessible — even in the event the journal itself stops publishing.

 

Self-Archiving (Repository) Policy

PERCIPIENCE permits authors to deposit their manuscripts in institutional repositories or any other repository of their choosing.

Authors are free to archive the submitted (preprint), accepted (postprint), and published (Version of Record) versions of their work without restriction.

No embargo period applies. When depositing their work, authors are encouraged to provide complete citation information along with a link to the official published version.
