J-PRIMa (Journal of Philosophy and Research in Islamic Mathematics Education) is a peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific works in the field of mathematics education, with a primary emphasis on Islamic and philosophical perspectives. Published by the Master’s Program in Mathematics Education at Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), Indonesia, the journal aims to serve as an influential academic platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators worldwide.
J-PRIMa particularly encourages research that advances the integration of Islamic perspectives within mathematics education, alongside broader philosophical foundations of the discipline. In line with this focus, the journal welcomes rigorous empirical studies and systematic literature reviews that contribute meaningfully to the development of mathematics education. By integrating these interconnected themes, J-PRIMa seeks to build a comprehensive academic forum that bridges theoretical foundations, empirical findings, and innovative educational practices within both Islamic and global contexts.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process involving at least two qualified reviewers to ensure originality, methodological rigor, and substantial scholarly contribution. Submissions must be original, unpublished, written in either English or Indonesian, and not under consideration by any other journal or conference.
Beginning with its inaugural volume in 2025, J-PRIMa publishes three issues per year, released in March, July, and November.
