About the Journal

Journal of Philosophy and Research in Islamic Mathematics Education (J-PRIMa) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by the Master’s Program in Mathematics Education, Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), Indonesia. Established in 2025, this journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating current research findings, innovations, and theoretical developments in the field of mathematics education.
The journal is committed to promoting the integration of pedagogical theory, mathematical reasoning, technology, and Islamic educational values in mathematics learning and teaching. It provides opportunities for researchers, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas and findings that contribute to the advancement of mathematics education at both national and international levels.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two reviewers. This rigorous process ensures the academic quality, originality, and relevance of the published articles.
J-PRIMa welcomes high-quality scholarly articles within the broad scope of mathematics education, including but not limited to the following topics:
