MAPPING MATHEMATICS UNTUK MENGANALISIS PROSES METAKOGNITIF SISWA DALAM MEMECAHKAN MASALAH ALJABAR

Abstract


Dalam proses pemecahan masalah terdapat peran metakognitif yang mempengaruhi proses pemecahan masalah. Proses pemecahan masalah menjadi lebih efektif apabila siswa melibatkan proses metakognitifnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada perhatian terhadap proses metakognitif siswa. Memahami proses metakognitif siswa sangat penting dilakukan dalam upaya menentukan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Dalam usaha memahami proses metakognitif siswa dapat digunakan metode analisis tematik dengan bantuan mapping mathematics. Mapping mathematics merupakan diagram yang menggambarkan struktur hasil analisis tematik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mapping mathematics terbukti dapat membantu dalam memahami proses metakognitif siswa dalam memecahkan masalah aljabar.
