About the Journal

Andragogi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Agama Islam, is journal published by the Department of Islamic Education, Universitas Islam Malang, since 2019. This journal is published twice a year, in May and November. At the beginning of its publication, Andragogi used Indonesian as its language of publication, but since Volume 5 Number 2 of 2023, this journal has been using English.

Andragogi journal focuses on the study of Islamic Religious Education, with a scope that includes curriculum, teaching and learning, learning strategies, educational management, learning media, and character education based on Islamic values in schools, madrasahs, and Islamic boarding schools. Andragogi aims to be an academic forum for the publication of original research results, conceptual articles, and critical studies that contribute to the development of Islamic Religious Education theory and practice in local, national, and global contexts.

Andragogi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Agama Islam welcomes contributions from academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries who are interested in the development of Islamic Religious Education. All submitted manuscripts will undergo an editorial selection process and peer review to ensure the academic quality, originality, and scientific relevance of published articles.
