Teacher grit berbasis pesantren untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa

Kualitas pendidikan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat keterlibatan siswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan akademik di sekolah. Demikian juga santri mampu mengembangkan diri jika mampu menunjukkan keterlibatan lebih baik di pesantren. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan penguatan guru sebagai pihak yang mendampingi dan memberikan pengajaran kepada siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam mengikuti berbagai kegiatan akademik di sekolah. Tingginya keterlibatan siswa akan berpengaruh pada meningkatnya prestasi siswa di sekolah, sebaliknya juga demikian rendahnya keterlibatan siswa juga berpengaruh pada kegagalan siswa. Metode pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan Partisipatori Action Research (PAR) yang menghasilkan kesadaran, komitmen, dan rencana tindak lanjut yang lebih progresif baik bagi para guru maupun siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam kegiatan akademik maupun non akademik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu memahami cara mengajar dan mendampingi para siswa untuk lebih terlibat, demikian juga dengan siswa menjadi lebih memiliki komitmen untuk lebih terlibat dalam melakukan kegiatan akademik di sekolah maupun di pesantren. Sebagai bentuk kegiatan keberlanjutan program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan peningkatan kualitas hubungan antara pihak guru, sekolah dan orangtua sebagai bentuk monitoring bersama dalam untuk mengontrol tingkat keterlibatan siswa.
