Abstract

Matematika merupakan salah satu pelajaran wajib yang ada di sekolah. Matematika di sekolah tidak hanya dilihat dari segi kognitif namun juga dari komunikasi matematis yang perlu adda pada siswa. Istilah yang digunakan untuk melihat kemampuan kognitif dan komunikasi matematis dikenal dengan istilah commognitif. Kemampuan matematis siswa diharapkan dapat merata sehingga salah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan cara dilakukan kegiatan pembelajaran secara diskusi berpasangan. Untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi sehingga digunakan instrumen berupa soal cerita. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk melihat commognitive matematis siswa ketika menyelesaikan soal cerita ketika diselesaikan dengan berpasangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendiskripsikan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya perubahan commognitive matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita secara berpasangan. Perubahan yang terjadi adalah perubahan yang positif terhadap kemampuan matematis yang dimiliki oleh siswa
