About the Journal
Yurispruden is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Malang in January and June (twice a year). Yurispruden applying Issue In Progress/Online In First, manuscripts that are declared worthy will be published immediately. Yurispruden publishes articles that discuss normative or sociological legal issues that are factual, actual, and with integrity compiled by academics, researchers, or legal practitioners, and focus on issues of legal transformation, institutional reform, and justice development in emerging and developing societies. Yurispruden has established several policies referring to the ethical standards set by COPE, which must be complied with by authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers. Yurispruden implements a pre-review policy as an initial screening before the manuscript is sent to the reviewer to check the suitability of the manuscript with scope and focus, compliance with the format and writing guidelines, early detection of plagiarism and publication ethical aspects, which is aimed at ensuring an effective and efficient peer-review and publication process. Each manuscript that passes the pre-review stage will be further processed by double-blind peer review in one round and the decision to accept the manuscript is fully under the authority of the editorial team based on the recommendations of peer reviewers.
Open Access Policy
Yurispruden provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public promotes a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles are freely available to both subscribers and the general public with permitted re-use.
All articles published as open access are immediately and permanently free to be read, copied, distributed, printed, searched, downloaded, linked to the full text of the article, crawled and passed as data to software by anyone, as long as it is for a legitimate and legal purpose. The full text of all content is freely available and open access without delay, no embargo periods, no requirement for users to register to read the content. We will continue to work with our community of authors to select the best license options: Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY 4.0).

The author retains the copyright to the article published in Yurispruden, but grants publish rights to Yurispruden to publish and disseminate the author's article.
The publication and dissemination of the article is subject to an attribution license (CC BY) under the Creative Commons Attribution License, so that others free also to copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, remix, transform and build upon material for any purpose, even commercially, as long as they give credit to the author for the authentic work.
Archiving Policy
Yuripsruden uses the LOCKSS system HERE and the CLOCKSS system HERE to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and to allow these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes. All content in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archives is stored with the explicit permission of the publisher, secured by a written contract or online permission statement. We are working closely with the implementers of the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS network to facilitate the development of governance and legal provisions appropriate to the content, jurisdiction, rights and access involved.
